Purchased Black ZR1's for my White Z

Well i finally pulled the trigger and got new wheels for my Z, well i shouldnt say finally i havent had the car for long but the stock rims and stock ride height is just not working for me. Just wanted to know i did alot of research maybe not enough but i got 17x9.5 fronts and 17x11's rears with Sumitomo Tires 275/35/17 fronts and 315/35/17 out back for 899.00+175.00 shipped is this an ok deal, they are brand new never used, on the tires i checked tirerack they are real cheap but have decent feedback i say decent mainly because i havent seen to many posts on the tires but either way should be alot better then what i got now. Im use to buying C5Z06 rims and later buying the tires for them putting them on at a local shop but this time i went a different route atleast for me, i know the ZR1's are fairly common but i wanted to stick with 17's and really go wide out back without the rims being too fancy attracting too much attention.

I am currently looking for zr-1' for my white z as well looking to go the chrome or polished direction though interested for any other answers.

picked up mine yesterday they are 18's so a lowering is definatley in order.

The 18's look good. Lowering will set them off great.

So would blacking out the front and putting on a billet grill

Initially was going to do the black wheels with the chrome lip, I might be getting an rk sport grill and painting it the color of the car to hide those holes. Some of those billets are nice with very small gaps and some have gaping spaces that let you see right past them unless you are staring down on top of it so oh well- this car is going to be whited out

When I put my billet on, I left it white for like a week. then took it off. Masked it off and painted it black. I like it better that way.

But, it all depends on what you like best

I never realized you had 2.73s.....you just need to work on peddlin our car out of the hole. You were keeping your foot in it too long. You'll get it down...

Just got my Black Zr1's and OMG they are wide out back lol. The tires they put on arent the widest 315's but even so they will stand out on the car. I hope it will look good from the back with it being lowered. Cant wait to put them on and take some pics ill post them up once i do.
