    Pro's/Cons 18" or 19"

Can any tell me the pro's and cons of an 18" wheel vs. 19"? I thought about going with 19x9.5's since I've got to replace 3 of my 18x9.5's. Just not sure if 19's would be a good idea for track and such...

I prefer 18's because there is a much larger selection of brands, better prices, and honestly my 18x10 have 35 series tires on them I would have to go lower. It handles great but I want to get a set of 16's later for the track.

18s aren't good for the track either. I would shop tires before I decided on 18s or 19s.

I'm definitely going back with the BFG KDW's. They bite really well and for the time I did have them, I was impressed.

I run 18s for the summer and the factory 17s with all-season tires in the winter. I will only go as far as 18s as here in NJ the potholes from the snow are NOT forgiving. I don't want any cracked/bent wheels.

I have the KDW NT's in a 245/40 f and 275/35 on 18's and they handle great and hook well for a 18. My Kumho ASX were all over the road especially the 1-2 shift and my car is a A4. Not just a loud chirp and it goes no more spinning.

I wouldnt go larger than 18's on any f-body, or any car for that matter (maybe a hummer). I dont think our cars look good with huge rims. Not to mention, tires for 19's are not gonna be cheap.

Actually my 18's on my TA cost as much as my 22's on my Trailblazer. Both have expensive tires the BFG NT's on the TA and Yokahama Parada Spec X on the TB

Just wanted something different for the summer and was inspired by Peters trans am. I know a lot you guys think 20"s are too big but I like it and thats all that matters. Here are a few pics and would love to hear some feed back.

WAY to much for my taste. The 4th pic makes me shit scared. I cant imagine running those in NJ/NY area with all the damn potholes. Is that stock height?

What did you have to do to get them to fit? You had enough front wheel clearance for turning without mods?

Those rotors look stupid being the size they are with such large wheels.

They'd look way better in a 17x9/17x11 combo imo.

No offense, but those things look retarded on that car. It ruins the whole look. Agree with the above, 17's all around with some nice meaty 315's in the back!

I'd get them in the 18's but they only come in 8.5 width
