    '02 Firebird Formula

    PO5 Wheel

    I was looking up my RPO codes on my car and it says my PO5 wheels are Chrome Var 1

    Now what is Chrome Var 1?

    Is it a metal wheel plated with chrome or a chrome wheel?

    Chrome plated... Chrome wheel... It all means the same, in that the base metal wheel rim (Aluminum here)
    will have been electro plated to a Chromium plated finish rather than the alternative which is the polish and
    clearcoat finish.

    Not sure what the VAR 1 relates to though?!
