If those are the only choices, I vote Option 1.

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Always had a thing for 5 spokes...Z06 Wheels seem to be a dime a dozen on F-bodies...

option 2 looks much better than the other two...........people look @ my wheels and comment on them everywhere I go

Out of the three, #1 for sure. I really don't like standing out in my car too much so #2 is hell now, And I usually don't like black rims unless their sitting on a black 2006/7/8 ZO6.
#1 is a polished aluminum right?

Just a suggestion... and I wouldnt go black on blue, stay with chrome, polished, or satin.

I vote 2. Chrome and the color of your TA will go together nicely IMO.

What's your budget?
For an inexpensive wheel, the Sportmax 962 (18x9.5) is pretty stylish. Kinda has a Fikse FM5 look... just too bad they don't come in wider widths and better offsets.
Of your options... I'd have to go with #1. I like the Z06's but they're just too common place now (IMO). If I were to go the Z06 route, think I'd go with the silver or slightly darker anthracite finish.
Good luck.

#1 looks great. The rims above are even better. Seeing factory rims on a diff. car drives me crazy. Not trying to offend anyone. I just decided on ruff 278s for my vert and found the post pics threads here to be very helpful on how a rim looks on a f-body and the sizing issues etc. Just my 2 cents....

BLK/BLK w/CGM Stripes- 2010 Camaro 2SS/M6
Something about #1 doesn't sit right with me. It's either the wheels look too small or the design just doesn't flow well with the car ... I've got 18X9.5/10.5 Chrome Z06's on mine so I'm kinda partial to them ... There's a reason they're so damn popular, even though new styles have come out, they're damn sexy (!!!!) and I don't believe I need to make my car look less just because I don't wanna be on the bandwagon (or can't afford high dollar CCW's or Fiske's) ... they may be a dime a dozen but our cars are rare enough these days that it's a refreshing sight for others on the road
For that color of car, I agree, a black would def. not suite it. A polished or chrome is the way to go ... but after all is said and done, it's your decisionLast edited by Mean Green Z28; 09-22-2008 at 10:33 PM.

IMO something Zo6 wheels on a TA just doesn't look right to me
Plus it just seems like a ton of people have them, granted I think they look ok on camaros but not the TA.. I prefer something that not everybody else has, which is the reason I saved and bought FIKSEs and not the FM 5 or 10
If it was only between those two I would go with the chrome over the black...

Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's or Junkyard Dogs...
sorry but the 3 options you list all suck, esp. the last 2 which are over done...

Agreed.
Here in the DFW area, there are so many Z06'd F-bodies... if you owned one, you'd probably lose it amongst the sea of other Z06'd F-bodies in the parking lots. Just walk and click the keyless entry till you find it I guess???
Nothing wrong with liking something... hell it's your car after all but on an "Originality" scale of 1-10, they're definitely a solid "1" these days.
*the opinions expressed herein are simply that... opinions and everyone has them*

I agree with Stuntman and Simmons
ZO6's are too cookie cutter just like TT II's.
JMO But since you have a Unique Colored Fbody why not find a Unique wheel.
