Not LS1 related but need a wheel guru to chime in.
Hello all. I have a 98 BMW 528. I have a line on a set of 17s off of a 2006 3 series BMW. Will the newer bimmer wheels fit the older car? I know nothing about the offset or any model year differences and hoped a knowledgeable wheel person could help out. Thanks.

well the bolt patterns are the same... now, would be nice to have the info on the wheel sizes and offset.
In theory all BMW are interchangeable, but the 3 series have quite different offsets... not sure about the new design, though.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

well, both cars have factory wheels right now. THe 98 which is the 528 has 15s from the factory. THe wheels I'm looking at are off of an 06 318i with the 17's with the sport package. Thats about all I know. I'd had to buy these and then have to get spacers. I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world though.
