nittos 555r's and heat

do they hook better after a burnout? also, on the street, I am blazing my eagle f1-gs tires to 40 mph. I am hoping the nittos will be better. (275 rear width)

what should I do about fronts? get the DR's for the front too, so I can rotate em? or get some cheapy front tires?

The DR's will always like to be warmed.
A street tire will not.

I run Nitto DR's on the rear and BFG KDW's up front.
I don't think I would like running a DR up front...too soft for most driving.

okay. thanks. I will start lookin for a good, cheap front tire. my friend was thinkin of doin those kdw's also.

Those F'1s are garbage in my opinion, i have had no luck at all with them. I picked up some Fuzion's for everyday driving, cheap, hook up awsome and do great in crappy weather..

yeah, the f1's are so expensive yet so crappy! what gives!!!!!!!

I am thinkin I will do regular nitto 555 tires (255/40/17) in front, and 555R's (275/40/17) in front

I have the stock LT1 WS6 wheels, and have a 275 tire up front now. it corners real nice, but it is gonna mostly be a straight line car. how do the drag radials do in corners. I'd like to pull a few now and then
