Nitto drag radial life
I plan on buying some of these and from what I understand theyre the longest lasting of the drag radials. Is this true?? I know others probably hook better but I'm already on my third rear end so I'm just wondering how many miles I can expect on a pair of these. I know it'll depend on the amount of burnouts n what not that I do but I just need an estimate. Thanks.

same here, ive got about 2k on mine and they are still in excellent shape. They hook up real well too, even though I don't really beat up on them as much as some people do. I think you will be happy with them.

Thats good. I'd be happy to get 10k on a pair.

If I take it a bit easier, I am pretty confident I'll get 10k out of em

Guess I'll order some. My car is sitting til I get new tires. Thats how bad I need them. I need to try something else other than sumitomo, those tires dont hook for shit. I swear when I launch my car I sit still spinning for 5 seconds before the car moves forward. Hopefully the nittos make my car feel faster.

Nitto's can hook up an automatic fairly decent. Just takes a while to find that sweet spot.
As for tire life, I get around 10K out of mine. Not racing on them though. But I drive the car hard.

I'm not looking for the tire that hooks the hardest. Just one that hooks decent but lasts a bit longer. Don't wanna smoke this 10 bolt for the third time.

i hear horror stories about these tires in the rain, but i suppose many people are like me and dont drive their car in the rain anyways

A friend of mine has 15,000 miles on his and will get another 5,000. He has a dozen passes at the strip and a fishtailling burnout on the street pretty regularly. They have lasted well.
They are ok in the rain till you are past 5,000 miles then they become a handfull. I use mine for the strip only and have about 75 passes on them plus 20 orr so trips to the strip at 120 miles round trip so figure mine have 2500 miles with the 75 passes and I'll probably get another 5000 miles out of them.
