Nitto coming apart with only 300 miles????

I just recently purchased 4 nitto tires 2 245 40 18 and 2 285 35 18s nitto nt555. I had them mounted on 4 new c6 replicas 18x8.5 and 18x10.5s. I only have about 300 miles on these wheels and tires and I noticed the outside of the tire of one of the rear wheels has a knot on it and is starting to come apart. I just noticed it this evening and was going to call tire discounters tomorrow. Has anyone had and experiances with a lemon tire from this company or know any info? Ive purchased probably 14 tires from this company and 10 were nittos in the last 5 years.

Im hoping that they will do something about this.

Take pics as the Notto rep will want to see them. If it is a manufacture defect they will take car of you do not worry!

well I purchased another one for $63 and they gave me the warranty. better than paying the full price I suppose.

did they tell you what happened? it was either a bead tear from ounting the tire, inner liner not sealed to body of tire, or impact fracture of the inner liner. all three would allow air to get inbetween the rubber and belts and cause the knot.
