New rims on the camaro

i put wheels on the camaro over the summer, and just really felt like putting pictures of it. i put on y2k thin spoke vette wheels on my camaro that i had powder coated ultra black high gloss, replacing the stock chrome 5 spokes. i love the looks of it now. what are some of your opinions?

Well since you love the way it looks it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.

But since you asked I don't like them for the simple reason that the spokes show off the small brakes of the F-body compared to the bigger brakes of a Vette. IMO the spokes are too thin.

Looks good. I would have left the lip chrome but that's just me. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

Like the color scheme too

haha thanks thats what im looking for haha.. its weird, the older crowd says it looks like shit and stuff, then the younger crowd i run into says its sweet. but its my car, and im in love. i gained fatter tires all the way around, and got rid of them gay ass 16's so yeah. haha

I really like the look , of course I have a set of all black 10 spoke wheels. I kept my chrome set because I like those too :-)

Black is the only way to go with a red/black Camaro. Chrome would just look stupid on a car that has absolutely ZERO chrome on it.

Im pretty sure most of our cars have "zero" chrome on them. So you basically said all of our cars with chrome wheels look stupid...

Maybe I don't understand what you're saying but the 17 inch 10 spoke SS wheel could be ordered in chrome or aluminum finish. The splayed 16 inch ten spoke Camaro wheel as well as the 93 - 97 (some 98) salad shooters could also be had in chrome.

As for black wheels on bright paint cars, to each their own on that. I don't hate them but for some reason it puts me to mind of wearing shorts, no socks or shirt with black dress shoes and a tie to some fine restaurant. Saying that though, I enjoy and approve diversity in other's imagination with their cars....

Negative. I've seen Camaros with chrome grills, head lights, decals, and wheels.

His car has a black grill (assuming), black mirrors, black upper half of the car, black emblems...wth would he put chrome rims to go with all that black?
