    Are my TT2's trash now?

I made a jackass move and sprayed my TT2 with Meguires chrome wheel cleaner not realizing the TT2 are not chrome. Now I have stains in the rims from the spray. Is there anything I can do to get these back to normal? It seems as if the spray soaked in to the aluminum.

i would think some polishing would take care of it...are you sure you cant "pull" up those stains with good cleaners ?

You might need aluminum polish. Eagle One makes aluminum/mag wheel polish as there are other companies out there making the same product.

yeah went over them with some never dull and rubbing compound and that worked them back to about 70%. Think i'm gonna pick up some aluminum cleaner tomorrow and give it another shot. At least I will never make this mistake again.

Get a powerball mini and the best aluminum polish you can find, if it doesn't work there are rim shops that can fix them depending on where you are.
