MT ET Street Radials(review)
just got these on a few weeks ago, and the trans went out the day i got these tires on, i got the 255's 50, i think by far these are the best tires I have ever ran in my life, they hook like no other im VERY impressed with these tires. I cant wait till next season to get them to the track and see what they can do.

Depends on how much you race.
So far I have made 12 passes maybe on them. Not much gone.
Try the 275/50/15. With 15 PSI hitting 4th gear down the track gets a little wobbly. First time I ran them I got outta it because it caught me off guard.
I use them for track only, I bet mine will last me 2 seasons. I make 30 passes maybe a year.

3K miles.
They are so soft, they aren't great for the street.
I run Nitto DR's as my rears on the street, they can go 15K miles and hook just as well on the street.
I do drive the 20 miles to and from the track on the MT's. Interesting ride with the skinnies up front.
But you can't beat the MT's on the strip.

Yes Mickeys ARE VERY STICKY!!!!!
I've had 1.65 60's on 275/40/17'sIn my 05 Goat.
I also run them on my Stang which is a 275/60/15 and thay hook best at 17psi for me netting a 1.28 60 spraying 250 out the gate.......Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Those tires rock, there are Buicks in the 9's on them. They are a night and day difference over ET Streets too, those tires drive HORRIBLE on the street. As far as driving with skinnies up front goes, I had to stop in a pinch on a cold day last week and they locked right up. Main reason I'm getting new wheels over the winter...
