    Looking for Best Street Tires

I'm looking for the top 5 street tires i can buy (not drag radials) for the Best Traction and Grip possible. I heard BFG KD's are good, any others? Reviews are much appreciated I don't really mind how long they last unless its ridiculous. Also i'd like them to be be alright in the rain. however, traction and grip are my MAIN concerns. Thanks!

I just picked up some bfg g force sport a/s and they grip great. I had goodyear eagle f1's on my cobra and they gripped good but not enough for the $250 a tire tag. I'm guessing nitto 555's are going to be thrown in to but I've never owned them. Kumho ecsta asx were great in the rain and pretty good for regular traction. My cars were close to stock other then minor suspension work that were only driven on the street but thats what I've had experience with. good luck

KD is good for dry traction 200 treadware rating, so softer compound

KDW is good for dry and wet traction 300 treadware rating, not as soft, last longer

How good are the KDW's compared to the KD's when it comes to dry traction?

    KDs have a 200 rating

    KDWs have a 300 rating

On dry pavement, the KDs are going to hook a little bit better for you. Nittos have a 100 rating IIRC, so the KD would be in between a Nitto and the KDW on dry pavement as far as hooking up.

I like Kumho's had good luck with their rsx's moved to their ZR victoracers but they are a dry weather only tire..

I too will be buying street tires when I return from deployment. I've searched online and decided that I am going for the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. Good tread life, still within budget and great reviews! Plus they are used on the new ZR1!
