I need winter tires!! and cant find any?

Alright i have to drive my formy through winter and i wanna put some real nice winter tires on the back. Now id like to put some Blizzaks on there but i cant find anyone who sells the tires in the right size. They are going to go on stock 16in wheels. Anyone know of any places to get a real good winter tire online?

Ive checked most of the sponsors (on here and tech) and i dont really like their selections, unless someone has experience with the tires they offer and likes them..

I ran some 225/55/16 General Altimax studded snow tires on my stock rims, worked pretty good. Kept me on the road. I bought them locally so I can't help you much on finding a dealer.

I would find some steel 16" and put some Blizzaks on them. That way you don't mest up your stockers if you were to slide into a curb. Check out tire rack for a wheel and tire combo.

And then the junker pos quits and you need the fbody anyway and you buy a second junker 4 wheel drive. I've got two old 4x4s that keep eating parts and stealing money away from my baby. If you get a 4x4 for winter buy it new or at least built in this millenium.

    Veery Lucky!
I have an old Bronco II. About 5 years now. About 290K miles. It blew a head gasket in winter a few years back. Did that repair after I bought the other car. A Bravada, spent $$$$$ fixing this thing. The good point is that it is now almost completely rebuilt and restored. And I can go play with the AWD in the snow. Its makes winter a little more tolerable doing donuts in the snow.

yeah college student and currently pretty much unemployed means i dont get to park both and buy a beater. The nicer one gets parked, the other gets driven. plus this one has seen salt and snow before, the other is a southern car and i plan on keeping it that way.

Why not sell one of them and buy a fwd car or something 4x4 or awd. Ohnestly not really making a whole of sense to me. I understand the whole college student part, but the money you would get from the one car, could be put towards the purchase of the winter car.....

cus i feel like the formula is more reliable than any car i can purchase for the amount of money id get for it. The TA is not getting sold regardless. besides im going to get the front painted this spring and give it to my dad, then buy a real winter car.
