I need new wheels! Help me out!
I need new wheels for my Camaro! What are some good links and what do you all recommend? I want to spend around $700 to $1,000! The lower the price, the better! What looks good!

What kind of finish are you looking for? Chrome? Polished? Painted?

Black- 2000 Camaro SS
I have a set of (4) Chrome 17"x9" ZR1s from my '00 SS for sale.
These ARE NOT replicas. They are SLP wheels from the factory.
Here is a link to my "For Sale" thread.
Email me if you're interested. =)Last edited by neotins; 05-18-2007 at 12:36 PM.

I was going to suggest American Racing at first because of the nifty fitment tool they have where you can "test fit" the wheel on your vehicle. Unfortunately Camaro is not listed... so I could not play with it. Darn.
Still... they have an application guide which shows you the types of wheels that are available. If you find something you like, I can reference the price list at my work and let you know roughly what they run.

Ps. I dig the chrome TorqueThrust's... Chrome is the more expensive finish of the bunch (double coated, but also carries a 2 year finish warranty) but is much easier to maintain than a polished wheel... which, IMO, is a lot more "high maintenance". The fancy wheel finish products that you can purchase now (such as ones including teflon) make for easy cleaning. Just spray on and hose off.

The best advice I can give you is be different. Avoid the cookie cutter wheels that everyone has and look for something unique.

I think the important thing is to find something that you like, regardless if it seems "cookie cutter" or not. You are the one who will have to live with the choices you make... Whatever reflects your personal style or taste is what you should go with.

size is important as well I got 17*11.5 rear and 17*9.5 front, love the stance looks much stronger plus I can get more rubber for better traction. In hindsight I would have gone more narrow up front. Mine or ZR1 style.

Navy Blue- 2001 Firebird Formula
have you seen the new Dale Earnardt collection from American Racing? They have some nice stuff in there, you might want to take a look on their website or TireRack.com, you can see the wheels on the car on TireRack.
