Had to do that because the FUCKnuts at the dealership, that I bought my car from, used an impact wrench.

If its gorilla.. you can use the sticker that came with it to give them the number and you can buy a new key.. not sure about other kinds... otherwise.. like stated.. get an old socket that you dontwant to use again.. and hammer it on and take them off...

as for getting a new key, i dont have the code since its the lugs that came with the car when i baught it. And with hammering the sockets on, will that damage the wheel or studs or anything else?

There isn't a sticker or something in one of the compartments?

And if careful it shouldn't/won't do anyother damage.

use a 12 point socket, will work much better. and if you use a socket with a warranty, snap-on, matco, craftsman, etc. the socket will be under warranty no matter how badly you abuse it. and no, there will be no damage as long as you dont miss the socket and hit your rim with the hammer

not a fan. ive used all different types of wheel lock kits and stripped socket kits, and id have to say a good set of 12 points works much better.

Ive used a large socket, and an allen wrench to take up slack, lock lug came off no problem. And this was at 3 in the moring after rolling a jeep on some ice and blowing a tire when we rolled it back onto the wheels. Sucked bigtime.

no you won't damage the wheel, unless you miss the socket and hit the rim with the hammer.

it should be a 3/4" 12 point socket to use.
