    How wide can I go?

I've got a 1993 Z28 and I want the widest 18 inch tires I can fit. Also, what do I have to do to tuck 315s in the rear if I drop the car 1.75"? 275s are cool up front as is right?

315s and dropped? I don't think it's going to work.

I'm running 285 18's in back and have the car lowered with Eibach Prokit. I had to roll the fenders in a bit to eliminate the rubbing.

I am dropped and running 295/35/18s in the rear, and they barely barely fit. I don't see anyway to get a 315 on there with your drop, unless you dang near tub it

I was talking to cobrahunter with the black bombshell, but you've got a nice ride too. I'd like to install small tubs in the future like LPE does to put 345s on vettes, but for now I work on a smaller budget than that. What did you do to fit the 295s and how much did you lower your car?

I have BMR springs, so about 1.25 inches. The rear wheels are 18x11s with 295/35/18s. Nothing special to make them fit, just the correct offset and a lil bit of work on the inner fenderwells. Thanks for the comliments

The rears are 18x10.5 Motorsport Z06's, wrapped with 285/35 Nitto 18's. Although I did have to roll the fenders in just a bit, I haven't touched the inner fender wells. Guess if I hammered away a bit, I could fit 295's back there. But it's all good.

You can see where the tire used to rub.

315s and lowered works very well... you can also go as wider if not wider in the front than the rear.
I had prokits and now coil-overs and 315s on all corners... they do fit well... just need to make sure of proper offset.
Heck, i'm thinking on going from 17x11 w/315s on all corners to 18x11 w/315s on all corners.

how much lower is your car than stock? if you do go to the 18x11s with 315s, could you hook me up with your offsets? How much pounding the inner fender and modifying of the rear fender did you have to do to tuck those under the prokits without any rubbing?

presently, i have +50mm offset on all 17x11.
I want pretty much the same offset on the 18x11.
For the pounding, i had to go through 3 massage-therapy sessions because i race on race rubber... allows for more rubbing than regular street tires.
the lip, use a baseball bat using it as lever on wheel and under the fender and just roll gently the car... so that the lip is |/ instead of |_
don't over do it... just put an angle so that it doesn't risk cutting the tire but rub if it ever was to come in contact.
