How/Where to get make chrome ZR-1s BLACK!?
I have been looking for pics of black zr1's on black camaro's and haven't been able to find many, but the ones I have seen, I liked. I have the chrome ZR-1s currently and I am wondering how to make them black. I have heard powdercoating or painting them? What way is the most effective and what places usually do this? I have searched and couldn't find too much information, but I am curious. Thanks!

powder coating will hold up much better. just look in the phone book. you could also go to a place that does iron railings and ask if they do it or where they have it done.

you could get a dark black gloss, matte, or flat finish probably. They do make a grey too. check eastwood.com. they should have a color chart for colors. Or you could buy the system and do it yourself.
