Factory Wheels?
Quick Question. Are the stock chrome wheels notorious for pitting up real bad?

Mine are chrome salad shooters on my 02 & with the right brake pads for low dust they look great for weeks & have never pitted or flaked. I'm so happy with them that even after almost three years of trying to decide on some aftermarket wheels , these suckers still look good enough to satisfy me for a little longer.
Besides , I've had several bad experiences with ordering aftermarket wheels only to find the wheels got either bent in shipping or were defective to begin with. Of course they always warn you that they won't take them back after they've been mounted but how else can you tell? I just can't stand even a slight steering wheel wobble at any speed.

The reason I ask, is because I went and look at a '01 SS the other day and the chrome was flaking off and pitted.
