    DR's

Anyone using MT ET Street Radial's?

If so how you like them?

Any other DR's that you can recommend for 17x9 to a 17x 11 wheel?

I ran them on mine for a while.....much stickier than the Nitto's but wear much faster too. I always liked the looks of the BFG's too....never ran them though.

I just bought a set about a month ago and will be running them come spring. My friend uses them exclusively and he has some cars that will smoke the shit out of mine. His only advice was to NEVER drive with them in the rain. Aside from that, he said they will be very sticky on the street and at the strip. He was cutting 1.5X 60' times pretty consistently, and in a heavy car.

Jon, putting them on a 17x11 wheel, would there be any issues?

I'm thinking of getting a pair of C4 ZR1 wheels to use for the track. Prostars are just too much for me right now.

I bought the OEM size since I'm still running the 17x9 wheel on my car so I'm not sure. You could always call MT and ask. With that said, the one's I bought were P275/40R17 and according to their site, are approved on rim width's of 9-11.

If that's the case I could just order another set of snowflakes and go with that tire size.

Not sure. Think mine are a 26" tire.

    You run 26's correct SMW?

I think I'm going to have to roll my fenders to fit the 28's

    haven't used DR's yet.

My current tire size are Nitto 555 275/40/17's for the rear on YR1 Snowflake 17x9 wheels. Their is plenty of room still even with the lowered springs. I wanted to get 295's for my next set but found out I'm a 1/2" short. I need 9.5" wheel so I'm stuck with 275's

On the fronts I use 255/40/17's

Excellent tire. I run them on the chevelle full time street and strip, 4,100 lbs. race weight and 1.5 60's. I ran the BFG's when they were the first drag radial to hit the scene. But when the Mickey's came out I tried them and never went back. Better 60 foot times with these. I've always used the 275-60/15's on mine which are 28" tall, while my father who also runs them full time on his old GTO uses a 295-65/15 which is 29.5" tall.

They do make a 28" tall version for 17" wheels which looks pretty damn cool on a 4th gen. If you run a 4.10 or more gear and make some steam under the hood, that's the height I would use.
