Chrome or Black?

I've got a red/black 98 Z and I bought a set of the C6 Z06 wheels a few months ago (18", chrome, DD, 8.5"F x 10.5"R). I originaly wanted a set of black Z06 wheels, but were never in stock till now. (18" x 9.5" all around). I'm debating selling the chrome wheels to buy that black ones. What do you guys think would look best?

Polished aluminum.

Anything is better than black...so out of the options you put up, chrome.

I was going to say polished AL also. Not a fan of black wheels at all, although I've seen a few rides here and there that pull off black nicely.

I don't ever recommend black wheels.

Black wheels should not be put on any car. Black wheels remind me of factory wheels. You know when someone drives around minus all of their hubcaps.

Agree with the rest about black wheels. However, the color car I come closest to liking them on is red. I do like combination black/chrome wheels and have seen those on red f-bodies and really liked them. Have you considered that?

I did think about that actually. But, the black wheels I'm looking at are the ones with a red stripe so I think its ties in perfectly with my car.

I'm sorry but I don't like the car with the black wheels AT ALL. It takes away from the overall appearance of the car IMO and makes it look "cheap".

i think that with chrome rims would look better. not that black dont look nice but i think that chrome make a red car standout.
