You should be able to my friend had some on his Z28 and my other friend did on his TA but there was fender rolling involved. I run the new BMR's with a 1.25 drop or so and with my 18x10's and 275/35's I still had to do a little fender rolling. Not as drastic as my friends cars but as long as there rolled right it isn't noticeable unless you look under the 1/4 panel. Was worth the $60 I paid to get them rolled by a pro with a Eastwood roller and a heat gun. I have also seen GTO owners grind the lip bit the rolling will keep better 1/4 panel strength. Just depends if you wanna roll the lips or not. I have seen stock height cars run that width but lower cars scrape on potholes or dips in the road more.
