C6Zo6 Rims: Black or Gunmetal on NBM

ok, so planning on getting rims at some point and narrowed it down to the C6Zo6 rims but I'm not 100% on wether to go Black or Gunmetal, I'm not a chrome type of guy. My car is (as the title mentions) Navy Blue Metallic, but I just want to get others feedback, I'll post a couple pix for your viewing pleasure.

The black rims on the TA are not C6Zo6, but give the basic idea of what the rims would look like. If anyone has a picture of the black C6Zo6 on NBM I'd love to see. Thanks, oh, btw, if it's too close to call currently the rim package I'm looking at is $70 cheeper for black (no idea why).

the gunmetal wheels look killer,although the black wouldnt be a bad idea either,i'd say go with the gunmetal rims

im also getting the C6 Z06 wheels for my pewter T/A im not a chrome guy either,so im going with the black C6 Z06 wheels,exactly the ones pictured above

get ROH RT's is silver (yes the pic shows the RT in chrome)...

vette wheels blow, are overplayed, and that quite frankly pisses me the f*ck off that no one else has the brains AND balls to challenge themselves to find a wheel that actually looks good on an f-body. as said before, people simply fall back on 'comfort food', and it's a shame...

but get whatever, it's your ride and your money. im just stating my opinion.

Gunmetal on color, I plead the 5th on wheel choice. It's whatever you like.

yes, you’re right it could/should have gone in wheels/tires, but I was hoping to get specific TA opinions, I’ve seen Camaros with almost every rim combination and don’t think that just because a set looks good on a Z that it would look good on a TA.

ROH’s are ok, but not me. Yes Vette wheels are overdone but there is a reason, they are inexpensive and can really change the look and performance of your car. For $500-$600 dollars you can upgrade your rim size and style, and 99% of people outside this forum would never know that the black or gunmetal C6Zo6 rims are “vette” rims because they never came from the factory that way. Most aftermarket rims are quite a bit more for narrower rims. I personally think 5 spokes are overdone and I like the look of a dished rim so that’s why I’m looking at these, I’d rather save some $ on other aftermarket rims and be able to run a wider tire and have $ left over for some other upgrades. There is a lot of personal preference here, no one’s right or wrong, I’m just more of a clean no flash put the $ under the hood guy. Thanks for the constructive criticism though.

i strongly feel and believe you can achieve this without having to fall back on the 'vette rim crutch' 99.9% of f-bodies owners do.

i simply wish i could challenge you to separate yourself from the rest, is all...

i don't think you could go wrong w/ either color/finish...

also, don't understand the "vette" wheel hate.. the vette wheels are well made, and look classy, unlike much of what is in the "aftermarket" wheel industry...

Gun metal. Not even a question. I have NBM WS6 and I am considering the same wheels as one of my 2 choices. I am between chrome and gun metal. I say gun metal for sure.

I had these back 7 or 8 years ago on my TA. Loved them. I'm trying to find them again. They've been discontinued. They are very rare. Any ideas on where to find them?
