    C6 Wheels

I thinking about replacing my curent wheels(TT IIs) with some C6 wheels. Anyways, I'm going to go with 18x9.5 wheels on all four corners. I'm trying to decide which offset I should go with. They come in either 40mm offset or 57mm offest. I do realize that the 40mm might stick too far out from the fender. But I think the 57mm would be too far into the fender. What do you guys think? Also, what offset are you guys with C6 wheels running? Thanks.

    go w/ the +40mm offset.
It will not stick too far out at all... actually, they'll still be sticking in.to give you an idea, they be halfway between the stock location and the location of 17x11...

This would be true for both front and rear? I assume that the 40mm offset would be better since it would pull the wheel away from the inner fenders, thus giving a bit more clearance from the fender walls. Could there be any negatives with running the 40mm offset? Thanks for your help.

It's like having the stock wheels and putting a 10mm spacer.
    10mm is less than 1/2"
Note that when you put a 17x11 +50mm, you are sticking both out and inwards by a full 1" and it does fit.
That solves the issue for the rear.

For the front, the 17x11 also fit but due to getting very close to the spindle, a small spacer is used ~1/4"... but the wheel is not only a 18" giving more clearance, but not as wide.... so not to worry... plenty of room both in front and rear.
Heck, I'm also putting 18x10.5 on all corners for my new street wheels (C6), keeping the ZR1 for track only
