2000 black T/A Vert- Red 99 C5 Coupe sold
C5 offset wheels did not fit my 00Vert :(
Tried to put my C6 Z06 replicas on my 00 vert, and they hit on the bumpstop. The bumpstop was digging into the tire. They are stock c5 offset, and worked great on my 99c5 before I sold it. Any thoughts? Where can I get some good spacers, and what size is everyone running?
thanks,
Shawn

Just trim the bumpstops.
Many members have to trim them up and move them towards the center of the car to fit 11" 315 wheels/tires.
There is an install guide on the 'net somewhere I will see if I can find it.

Found the instal guide:

you could always get wheels spacers to adjust the offsets aswell.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
a 1/4" will work great in the back.
trimming the bumpstops is another alternative.
without the spacer, doesn't the tire rub on the inner fender ? it's a +58mm offest for the C6-Z06 wheel if I recall whellEugenio_SS

Thanks for the info. I don't have any pics, I took them off when I noticed the one was rubbing. I think I will pull the bumpstop and see if I can get it to work.
thanks,
Shawn

Red- 2002 Camaro SS
I have c6 wheels on my 2002 ss. they are 18x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in rear with the 305 45 18 nitto dr's in rear. I too had the same problem of hitting the bumpstop and would recommend using a grinder to grind down the bumpstop in the middle/back area where it prohibits the wheel to fit correctly. after a good 10 minutes of grinding and re-fitting, they cleared without any problem. However, you must also use a BFH and do a little inner fender work because when you take corners they will rub slightly. I would also recommend rolling your inner fender lip as this dramatically helped me considering my car is lowered. goodluck!
