Bad hub maybe? The speed sensor and hub are one unit so that could cause it.

check the harness wires at the back wheels that go to the sensors. did they come undone or did you pinch them with the jack or jack stands?

same thing has happened to me not after changing tires though but brake light comes on too. I have had the lights pop on right when starting on the car or letting it idle for a little bit and sometimes it doesn't come on could it be the sensor in my rear had that rebuild a few months ago

That's roughly a 28" tire. If you have 275/40/17s up front, then that's your problem.
Try searching for ABS INOP and BRAKE light, you'll find that this is a common issue with mismatched tire sizes. Basically, your speed sensors in the front aren't in sync with the speed sensors in the back due to a difference in revolutions; Fixes? New tires, ABS delete, or learn to deal with it and understand that until that light pops on, your brakes aren't going to work right, because ABS will try to interfere and simply F- things up.
On the other hand, it could be something completely different; hit a GM dealership and they can read the ABS code and tell ya.She's baaaaaccccck...

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
you're problem is that the rear tire is too tall compared to the front one.
so the front tires rotate more relative to the rear, making the ABS think that you're constantly locking the rear slowly... making the ABS go crazy.
you'd want 275/45-16... not 275/55-16
