ive done a lot of checking on this and on my car i put the american racing 17x11 torque thrust 2's on the rear with 315 35 17's They are awesome!! They look so good in my opinoin. That is the biggest you can put on, you wouldnt want anything bigger in my opinion anyway. The only problem with them is you have to beat the inner fender in right where the bump stop is. Not a lot only like 1/2in or so. Other than that it worked fine. If your car is lowered you may have to roll the inner quarter but only if your dropped with say sportlines or so. Some people say they didnt have to do anything with the combo. I havent dropped mine yet but i plan on using the sportlines and ill find out soon enough.

Here is the rims that i have on my car. The front is the 17x9.5 and the rear is 17x11.

(I had the url here but it wont let me post it unless i have 10 or more posts, stupid! So just go to the american racing website and use the vehicle search they are the series 505 american racing torque thrust 2's.)

I really think these look good on our cars. If you do a google search you can find them on others peoples cars. I dont know anything about drag trim but the tires sizes will change the size of the tires obviously. The tires i have is 315 35r17. Those are about 3 in tall and very wide!!! I'd say a foot or so wide. Im not anywhere near my car so i cannot measure them.

17x11 with 315/35/zr17 torque thrust II's no bfh'ing no fender lip rolling, just added an 8mm spacer and installed longer wheel studs to accomodate. the car is lowered with an eibach pro kit as well.

I have Simmons FR18's, 10.5" out back with Michelin Pilot 295/35/18's. I don't know the exact offset on these wheels but everything fits just right. The bumpstops clear on the inside and the fender lip clears too.

The car has the "look" I was wanting and yeah, I wouldn't mind stepping up to a 305 next time but it just doesn't seem worth it when everything fits so well.

Sorry, didn't mean to get off track but yeah... a 295/35/18 setup with the right backspacing fits without any alterations.

I run a 285/40R17, no rub period..... 315/35R17 on the rear, and no rub. Though it did when my shocks were shot due to excessive body roll. I am using 17X10 (measured) Konig Flight wheels. -Tim

Here's some pics of my Torq-Thrust II's 275/40 on front, 315/35 out back. 315's are the best looking combo, esp. w/ these wheels. I'll get a better rear shot when I go home this week. Enjoy

raining and muddy pic,,, but I put 315/35's on stock SS 17" wheels on the back, with no rubbing... a little wider than should probably go on there,,, but it will go on, and drives great.

ok. I have a question. Obviously the 315's in the back look cooler and obviously handle better in a straight line. But how do they do in handling situation.

I defintely want to go with the 315's. But I don't want to sacrafice my driveability or even having the ability to go into a turn really hard when I'm trying to have some fun.
