Anyone running black wheels on a NBM car?

I have NBM Formy, and I can't decide what wheels to get for it.

I was kind of leaning toward stock WS6, Antracite TTM's, or maybe chrome C6 Z06's, but I was wondering how black would look.

I like the look of a black wheel with a polished lip, (I found a set of C6 Z06's like this) but I'm not sure how well it would go with NBM. Anyone running this combo? PICS?

    THANKS!

I've seen black rims with no chrome lip on a 2001 NBM Formula, it didn't look too great IMO.

I'm not a big fan of all-black wheels. I think it needs the chrome lip.

I agree...all the black wheels that I see and like have either a chrome or polished lip.

How about charcoal gray? The C6 ZO6 wheels in "hypersilver" (looks like charcoal to me) look pretty cool.

Those are nice too. I think the reason I don't care for the all-black is just cause sometimes the wheel looks strange next to the tire. The wheel itself doesn't look bad.. just one shade of black next to a different one.. doesn't do it for me.

That's funny because I didn't think the chrome lip looked as good as all black. I think it has that "stock car race" look, depends on the look you want etc..

    Yeah...

I run black steel wheels on my Jeep, and they look tough with mud tires, but I can't see that combo on my car.

The polished lip breaks it up a bit.

I bet that would look awesome on a Jeep though. Who knows, for me I guess it just depends on which look you wanna go for with each vehicle. I'm indecisive. whatever.

I found some black C6's on Ebay with a polished lip, I really like those. I just can't visualize them with the NBM, I think it might look too dark.

Maybe I ought to go with silver or polished/chrome.

Actually no, the don't have the rivets. I've seen the riveted ones, and I like the look of the one w/out a little better actually.

Still not sure about the black on blue though, but luckily I won't be purchasing them for another few months.

Thanks!!!! I have been looking for them w/out rivets for a long time. They must have finally started doing them.

    Thank you for the link.

No problem! And the price is pretty good too. If you click on "Corvette Camaro Wheels" under the big pic of the wheel brings you to the main page, they have 17's, 18's, and 19's.

I like the look of the 18's, but I think I'm going to go with 17's on mine, and go with the same size all around so I can rotate them.
