Any one have 18"s on a lowered car?
just curious how well the fit would be. talking about a 1.5-2" drop. preferably 18"s all around. i know some have 17"s in the front.. how does that feel? are there any issues with fit and rubbing?

I have 18x9.5's all around with the pro-kit and I only needed to BFH the rear inner fenders. 275's in the front and 285's in the back.

I'm running Boyd Coddington 18x10 in the rear and 18x9.5 in the front of my 2000 WS6 on an Air Ride Technologies suspension. Everything fits fine.

They handle better than stock suspension (at cornering and take-offs) and are also better, in my opinion, for handling than the Bilstein's I installed and took off because the ride was too harsh. Ride's nice on the highway and great for some aggressive driving. With the 5" of height adjustments, I can also easily raise the car and get into parking lots and onto car ramps. Only issue is adjusting the height so I'm installing a auto-level sensor.

I wouldn't do the airbags without using the LevelPro (to quote "The LevelProâ„¢ system uses a unique combination of ride height sensors AND air pressure sensors to quickly achieve your selected ride height. By comparing the position of the ride height sensor to the air pressure the vehicle is leveled with no crossloading."). Otherwise, adjusting the height is a real problem and has been somewhat frustrating. They are being installed this fall so I hope they make the air ride system easier to adjust.
Only other issue is putting the compressor behind the rear seat. Takes up some space (which is limited to start with).
Is anyone else using Air Ride on their F-Body?

Bags are very rare in our community.. at least from what i've found... how much did you pay for your kit? would it be impossible to put the tank where the spare tire is? i.e. get rid of the spare. Airbagit dot com sells a setup for the sensors and all the electronics stuff. it's in a small box. looks like it would fit perfectly back there. my whole idea is to keep the car looking as stock as possible.. no visible wires, etc...

theoretically, i'm going to do it. it's just getting the cash saved up for the kit.

The air compressor for my Air Ride Technologies kit sits behind the back seat and looks kind of cool (except to my wife....) sort of where most guys would put the nitrous bottle). I can still put my t-tops in the trunk and keep my spare wheel.
And, as to how much I paid for the kit, I don't recall the parts price and my friend did the install for free (lucky me).
