another new tires thread

well i'm looking at new tires...i need a new set soon. i've seen a lot of good things about the fuzion zri's on here and they sound like a good tire for the price.

i have also found on called the "general exclaim uhp" which have a better rating than the fuzions and are only about $4 more per tire on tirerack.com

i know that a lot of guys like the fuzions but has anyone had any experience with the generals? i'm also wondering about treadlife. i don't do burnouts and i can't recall how the treadlife works

fuzion is 320 A A
general is 380 AA A

so what does that mean...i know that that's the treadlife rating...but beyond that i've lost it.

Put a set on my Z, work great on dry roads and do very well in the rain, then again my last tires were bald.. but; the rain rating is very good!

don't know about the generals.
had fuzions on my z for about 40K. awesome grip even in the rain(not so good in the snow)
