315 tires on! love 'em
I got my Sumitomo HTR Z 315 35 zr17's on today, and they are sweet!!!
i know a lot of people are against putting them on the stock SS zr1 wheel,
but I do not corner hard, and I think it looks awesome! plus they were only
$110 each so it was worth the tirerack experiment....
I will post some pics in a day or two, I also got my 35th anniversary stripes on today...
and I am sure there will be people flame me for putting 35th anniversary stripes on a 2000 model SS, but again, this is my car, and I think it looks really nice.
I fell in love my car again today... I have not been this happy with a car of mine in 15 years.... so i had to share my feeling with yall... It is like having a new car without paying new car prices, and I can't get a new camaro yet anyways.
i can't wait to get some pics up.2000 Red Camaro SS M6 326 hp & 332 ft lbs torque @ wheels
GM Motive 4.10 gears 8.52@86mph in the 1/8 mile on bald
street tires. ET Streets on for the spring, and a trip

i was not allowed to post a link to my pics because I didn't have enough posts... I posted here a lot before the site went down, then it made me re-register for even reading the threads... and I went to camaross.com for my help the last 6 months... then finally broke down and re-registered here,,, oh well

so far I have not experienced any rubbing, that I can hear or feel, I have
not pulled the wheels to look for scuffing...
one thing 315s on the 9" wide ss wheels causes the contact patch to be incorrect,,, I noticed in on the wet parking lot today, that about a half inch of the outside of the tread was dry, meaning it was not making contact with the pavement...

Looks good! I shoulda gone with 315 Drag Radials on my 9.5 TTIIs then since I'm already running them down to 25 psi and still not hooking.
