315 NT555's or NT555R's
ok so im looking at a new set of wheels and tires. im looking at Torq-Thrust M's 17x9(front) and 17x10.5(rear)... after looking at tires i think i have it narrowed down to two tires from Nitto! i know the NT555R's run narrow compared to the NT555's(both 315/35/17) but will the NT555's fit under my Camaro? from what i found the NT555R's are 12.13in wide and the NT555's are 12.56in wide!

It'll be close. Being on 17s should help but I don't want to give a you a definitive answer. I wasn't sure if my wheels and tires would fit without hammering until the day I put them on. I just accepted the fact that I was going to do what I had to to get them on.

I know it looks close and my answer seems dumb but it worked out that way. I'm definitely glad I didn't have to hammer or cut anything. If you are looking for a tire that is street driven the 555 is going to last you longer.

thats what i was thinking and i would feel better driving that on the street than driving the 555r

If you drive the car in the rain, then I advise against running the 555Rs and go with the 555Extremes. I run the Extremes and I have ZERO complaints in the rain.

here's a shot of some TTMs on a red car. I like the TTIIs better but that's just me.
