Are you thinking to tall? I am looking for alternative tire sizes for the rear 10.5 TTM's. I want to keep stock 275-40-17 up front and thought that maybe going the next size up in the rear would be ok. I don't want to worry about rubbing with to big of a tire in the back. I don't want to bash the car up to make the rears fit. What would you recommend?

Its not really worth the extra bucks to got to a 285 over a 275. You won't notice much difference in the size or grip.

Honestly I have never seen it but I would think it would. The fronts in my opinion would be perfect as far as fitment the back would look like the rim sticks out farther than the tire meaning the tire won't buldge over the rim at all. Not sure if you can understand what im saying but I its kinda hard to explain.
A 295 would be nice but the only 295's for a 17 are slicks. So honestly I would look into a 315. It will look very good and you will have a stagered look that I think you are looking for.

I just wanted to avoid going with the 315's because it seems that most people need to BFH the wheel well and grind down the jounce bumper. I don't want to hack up the car just to make them fit. I really like the staggered look, but if I have to bang up the car I won't do it.

Do you already have the 17x10.5 rims? If not just go with 17x9's all the way around with a 275.
