19" and 20" Rims on Trans Am

Does anyone have 19" or 20" rims on thier cars and how is the handling as far as going around corners. I'm really wanting my car to be different from the rest !! Thank you for any input or pictures you can give me !! =)

17-18 is optimal for handling and etc for f-bodies. you can get away with 19s but you will have to do some trimming for them to fit. get 18's all around and match the tires front and back and you'll have good performance and handling.

Ride looks sweet with the stagger!! Do you have any rubbing with the 19" on the back when going around corners ????

go with 18's if you want some dubs, sell the ta, and buy a caprice or impalla.

your right!! 20's would take away from the car!! I just need to fins some badazz rims to set my car away from all the rest. I see everyone has torque thrusts and smoothies! I like the five star, but I want a five star different than any I see here. I'll take suggestions on what you all would want to see on a TA !!????????? Thanks guys!!

Why would you have to trim with a 19" wheel shady?

you'll have to flare the fender and trim the wheel wells for them to fit. especially the fronts unless you put a ungodly spacer.

check out Foose, they have some basd rims but can be a bit pricey. And I have always like these

thanx & no rubbing issues at all & i even have mine lowered w/ the pro-kit..not sure though why my rears would rub while cornering?19`s on an f-body can look absolutely sick if done tastefully.my best advice is to get what you want,its your car,your money,your style..dont just go by what a few tools online told you they like or dislike!!

I would run the 4 spare tires on my car before I put spinners on a Bird !!!! lmao !!! There are just too many sweet rims too hoose from. I will be sure to post a pic of the ones I finnally settle on.

And I have been staring hard @ the Foose Nitrious rims......just want to see if there is anything close to them before I drop $ on the Foose name !
