NBM- 2001 Camaro SS
18x10.5 up front
I was just curious if a 18x10.5 rim with a 295/35 tire will fit up front on a 4th gen camaro. If so what offset should I run? If not then I'll just stick with the 18x9.5" rims.

I have them and they tuck in inside the fender... and I have 315/30-18 on them.
You can click the link in my signature or check here: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showpost.p...96&postcount=6
Also, the C6 wheels are +56mm offset... a 1/2" spacer is needed to have what I get on stockish brakes setup.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

would a 58mm offset be better or worse? And would I still need the spacer?
Thanks

Ideally, for no spacer, you'd want in the range +40mm to +48mm offset, +44mm being the closest to ideal in the front... of course that is providing you have stockish braking system.
In my case, because I have a Porsche braking system, that pushes everything by 1/2" outwards, where the wheel will sit, making the C6 or C6-Z06 wheels a perfect choice for me without any spacers... but I doubt that is your case.
remember the higher the offset, the more it tucks in; the lower, the more it sticks out.

www.skulte.com makes great ones.
I use a 1/4" spacer in the rear and that's it... the Porsche kit takes care of moving my wheel a 1/2" outwards.
