    18's on all 4 corners

I'm looking to put chrome Z06 wheels with Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires on all 4 corners of my 2000 SS. The wheels are 18 x 10.5 with 58mm backspace. The tires would be 285/35/18. The car has Eibach Pro Kit which lowers about 1-1 1/4 inches. What issues am I going to have to deal with? Any spacers required (if so, how much)? Any problems with inner fender clearance or outer lip? Any thing else to consider?
This is my first post, any help is appreciated!!!

    Hi,

I have both 17x11 w/ 315s on all corners for track and about to install the 4x 18x10.5 C6 wheels (+58mm offset) w/ 315s on all 4 as well.
On the C6 wheels, I'll be putting a 1/4" spacer in the rear and 1/2" spacer in the front. Will be @ same position as where the 17x11s are without clearance issues.

    btw, welcome to the board
I'll be in OH next month.

Thanks for the info!! Are the stock wheel studs long enough to accomodate the 1/4" and/or 1/2" spacers?

I have ARP studs a bit longer on each end.
ARP 7708 is what you need.

Are you saying that you have no clearance issues with your 17x11s with no spacers? Or that you have spacers on the 17x11s.

with the 17x11 (+50mm offset): no rear spacer, 7/32" front spacer (some ppl use 1/4")

so all intents and purposes, the spacer is 6mm wide in the front. w/ the spacer, it makes the wheel equivalent to a 17x11 (+44mm offset)

Now, the 18x10.5 are 1/2" narrower... ie 1/4" narrower on each side from the centerline.
If the 18x10.5 were +50mm offset, they would fit exactly like the 17x11 +50mm but with 1/4" clearance more on the outside and 1/4" clearance more on the inside as well.

    REAR:
So by putting a 1/4" spacer in the rear, i make the wheel 6mm more on the outside... so the equivalent of removing 6mm from the offset.
with a 1/4" spacer, it's as if the wheel was a 18x10.5 +52mm (centerline 2mm off from the 17x11 current setup, but i have the 1/4" more clearance on each side)

    FRONT:
putting a 1/2" spacer in the front, i make the wheel 12mm more on the outside... so the equivalent of removing 12mm from the offset.
with a 1/2" spacer, it's as if the wheel was a 18x10.5 +46mm (centerline 2mm off from the 17x11 current setup, but i have the 1/4" more clearance on each side)

    So I know it's a winning combination.
Note that I have no issues whatsoever w/ the 17x11 (especially in the front). the rear required some centering of the PHR + BFH-massage-therapy sessions on the inner fender.

btw, here are few pix of a guy that had 18x10.5 on all corners, but not sure he used spacers (I recommend the above spacers so that you have the most clearance on both sides of the wheel.
