17's in the front and 18's in the rear

Hey guys I just picked up some Z06 rims. The fronts are 17 X 9.5 and the rears are 18 X10.5. I have searched but can't seem to find anymore info on the ABS . I was curious what sizes I need to go with so as to not mess up the ABS. Someone mentioned that if they aren't sized properly that the ABS will fail under a panic stop. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

no problem with mine 275-40-17 for the front and 295-35-18 in rear. Here's a pic. You should not have a problem with these sizes with your abs sensor.

I started out running that size front and rear and under panic stops the ABS would "mildly"activate.Got out my scanner and found a 1 MPH difference between the front and rear.I ended up having to run 285/40r17 front 295/35r18 rear.

Good info I have been running 275-40-17 front and 295-45-18 rear and did not have any problems, currently I still have 275-40-17 front and 285-40-18 rear. I rarely drive my car but so far no problems.

Thanks man, the Mach is a R code 69 (428 CJ) it was on a roll back and I called the # that was on the truck, I asked what he was going to do with it, he told me he was going to set it out at his junkyard. Since I know alot about the Stangs I told him I would come out and check it out. The first thing I did was make sure the vin matched from the dash to the door and it did and then I was surprised to see that it had a R I was like oh crap, I asked how much he wanted and he said 500 bucks. I gave him the cash and he said you know something I don't so I told him that the R stood for 428 CJ. I started to restore it ended up having to have surgery on my shoulder and I ended up selling it to another person for 5500.00 I did not want to sell it but that was a good profit I could not pass.
