17 up front 18 in back....good idea?
Wanting to get rid of the TTII's in favor of smoothies but I want a 17x8 up front and 18x10 out back. From a looks point of view will this look stupid you think or will it be ok? Also, would it be a good idea to just go ahead and buy 18's for all four corners instead of just the back?--Tony

You will just have to watch your rear wheel lips especially if it is lowered.

It is lowered, about 2 1/2 inches. What size tires do I need to look for?--Tony

Decided on 18x9 out back and 17x8 up front. Gonna order the 18's tomorrow and the 17's in two weeks. Any opinions on which tires to run? Right now I have the Toyo Proxie T1-S and love them but they are not made anymore from what I understand. I was thinking about going to a BFG g-Force TA but am not sure. Anyone have an opinion?--Tony

Silver- At least its paid for.
Are you going to be able to bolt those rim's on and not have to do anything to them? Like recalibrate the speedo. Or put spacer's on them.

wheels&tires
i used 17x9.5 frt and 18x10.5 rr z06dk gray off a 2002 z06.
and got center caps with pontiac logo from gm.these caps have a polished overlay on them that you can take off and they ar painted sparkle silver.so you could use them on a polished or painted wheel.will need to do some trim on the arrowhead for looks.but they are much better on a pontiac then the crossflags. oh ya running firestonewide ovals all around.
265/40/17 frt 295/35/18 rr no rub no problem.did put a gm spacer all around though for good measure.all factory stuff and the gm wheels are a lot lighter than aftermarket repro's just my op though...dk color gives a road racing flavor.
