Blue- 2001 Formula
17" or 18"
i've been looking into getting a set of rims. i was looking into either zo6 rims or the new c6 rims i just havent decided whether i want 17's or 18's. I go to the track all the time and i heard that 18's will cost me some time. let me know if you guys think it will make a noticable difference or if it will be very minimal

Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
they actaully can cost a fair amount of time.
#1 they can be alot heavier than their 17" similar wheels
#2 less sidewall means less traction
#3 generally you have to get narrower rims and tires the larger you go in diameter

I went with 17" for the above reasons. ^^^

18s look better IMO but they can be heavier. It depends how much you want to spend. There are some 18's that are lighter than 17s. Chrome makes a big differance in weight as well opposed to painted/polished wheels. Ultimatly, 18s will cost you more. More money to buy light ones, and more money to replace tires.

Black- 2002/WS6 Trans am STS
tt the way to go. I went with 17X9.5 up front and 17X11 so I can fit ps2 335/35 17. Love the way they look, little rubbing but got it to work

I've 18" c6's and w/ the 275/35 tires they weigh only 60 more pounds ( all 4 ) than my stock 245/50/16 wheels and tires (all 4). So its not a HUGE difference.
