    Winter Project (Powder Coated Calipers)

So I am about half finished with my winter project. I wanted to post some pics of my progress. The calipers were painted orange with caliper paint about 5 years ago and they were still in good condition but I was tired of the color.
I pulled all 4 calipers off the day I put it away for winter. Then I stripped them down and sand blasted them. On Thursday I powder coated them. All I have to do yet is rebuild them and install them back on the car.
Here are a few pics. Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice! Did you powder coat them yourself or pay someone to do it? If you paid someone how much did it cost?

I did it myself. Wasn't very hard just time consuming. My wife helped me tape and paint them. She likes to help if I let her.

They look really good (especially for the "hair dryer" gun) I would suggest one thing if you dont mind, if you still happen to have them off, blast and coat the ends of the rotors, its just one of those things, but details are where its at

A really nice way to do the rotors is to blast the entire thing, coat the entire thing (dont blast heavy on disk surfaces) then spend the time or money to machine the surface areas, this really gives off a finished look!
