Window Tint Costs for a '00 TA

I was just wondering what some of you paid for window tint. I was quoted $215 for the 3 windows and T-Tops. It seemed a little steep for me. Just was curious.

i just paid $79 yesterday for my 2 fronts. t tops and rear was done from previous owner

paid 100 for fronts and hatch but i knew the guy. i think his normal price was like 150-200 for a car.

I think I paid $200 for my fronts and hatch...I almost always have the t-tops off, so I didn't waste the money on them. I was also quoted $100 to get my windshield done, but I decided to not attract too much attention.

i paid 250 for fronts and rear but i think i have a lifetime warranty on em. they're illegal so i didn't get a bill

yeah, its that back glass thats a bitch, i think i got quoted $285 for removal of my current, and new tint

save some cash for possible removal because the front doors are illegal in Mi and some cops will make you tear it off in front of them and give you a ticket.

Sounds like a good price to me.

I paid $100 just for the two sides with a lifetime warranty. Back and tops were already tinted.

The t-tops are factory tinted and I heard if you tint them they could trap heat and crack.

wow sounds like some expensive places you guys are goin to . . .i know zeibarts expensive because of the warranty . . .but theres a place here called accessories plus that only charges $125 for sides and hatch, and i believe its a year warranty. do it yourself and only costs about $20-40 bucks . . big learning curve tho . . . expect getting pissed off numerous times.
if your looking to save some money, maybe have the hatch tinted by someone but do the sides yourself. . . i had to retint my drivers side last year and it was pretty easy, but keep in mind i have a little tinting experience.

Also depends on what type of tint they are using. I got mine done with Solar gard tint and removal of rear hatch tint without screwing up the rear defrost. Bill was about $220.

Yeah I know it is Illegal for the fronts in Michigan. But I am not blacking them out I am going with the 35% on the fronts and blacking out the Hatch. I hope it doesnt draw to much attention. Gonna roll the dice.

I am getting a lifetime warranty also. Guess I got a good price. Ill let you guys how they come out. Getting them done on Saturday I'll keep you posted.

I thought all the T- tops were tinted from the factory...

Never thought otherwise......

The tops have a factory tint, but if you black out the sides and back...it looks funny when when the top is lighter. I had to tint my tops because of this reason. I paid 250 for the redoing the doors and hatch with 5% (that was several years ago)
