what color red is my badges

Hey guys im going to paint some stuff under my hood and also my rotors and I was wondering what color red is the SS and bowtie badges on my 99 SS? Also what kind of paint do you should I use? Thanks for your time.

I used red duplicolor caliper paint to do all my stuff. The red looks good and can take the heat.

Because there are many shades of red manufactured by various companies, I would drive the car in question to your paint supplier and match the color by taking the cap off the spray can and then putting it next to what you want to match. Places like Autozone, Murray's (CSK, O'Reilly's), Pep Boys etc., will allow you to take the cap outside to do so. Just let the store associate know before doing so.

Depending on what you want to paint, there are several applications for just that. If painting anything that gets pretty hot, be sure that the paint contains ceramic and is rated for the proper temp.

All other parts can use a decent spray paint of any kind.
