Vinyl Fill or Stainless fill?
You know. for the letters on the back of the Camaro's. I've seen the cheap vinyl ones on ebay for 8 bucks.. and then there are other ones for 25 bucks.. and some are like 50 bucks and are "stainless steel." do they all hold up the same/ look the same?

I have the $65 stainless ones, you won't find a better quality or better looking one. I have worked with the vinyls, you get what you pay for. In short, they don't all hold up the same and they don't all look the same. If you want some that last get the stainless ones.

Had the vinyl ones.. switched to the stainless. The stainless are cut to fit perfectly. They are extreamly shiney, and will not fade. The vinyl ones lasted for about 3 years and then clouded up and looked bad. To make it worse, the vinyl is a major PITA to remove once they have faded because they've been baked on for so long.

Look for a seller named "MuffinBuster" on eBay. I got a set from him for $30 someodd dollars. Great work, nice mirrored finish. Couldn't be happier.

I used floss, a toothpick, hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to get them off.
