VHT Nightshade come in colors?

i was wanting to find a paint that allows light thru for my side markers but i don't know how black would look on NBM, and was wanting to maybe find a navy blue paint that would work anyone know of paint thats allows light thru and thats not black?

You could always get some PPG NBM and dilute it with some clear.....I think that might work!

I could be wrong though....

do you know of anyone that has done this? i kinda remember reading this some where

Well, there are people on here and LS1Tech that has done that, but instead of a color like NBM, they do Black and dilute it with clear...then shoot it on and it is similar to Niteshades, but more Professional looking. I cant remember his name, but there is a guy on the forums that has an LS1 T/A (I think an '02) that did this and his results were amazing! More glossy than doing it with Niteshades with no orange peel effect or anything.

You could always check with a local body shop if you are unsure as to go about this....I chose the Niteshades route on mine, because I've had little experience with an actual Spray Gun, and didn't want to fuck my shit up! I had really good results with Niteshades, but in your case...it's the alternative, and I think it will work fine....if you can do it with regular Black paint, then you should be able to do it with NBM!

their is a guy on clubgp that does this. he uses some candy in it as well i believe. might try and find him on their to find out what part clear to what part color.
