    Vette lettering removal on FRC HELP!

    how hard is it to remove the corvette lettering in the FRC's? is there a write up? thanks!

    Do you have the black ones with the red lettering? If so, you would need to fill them in and smooth them.

    no its the red ones black lettering. I want to replace the lettering with a camaro decal from brent franker.I also want to paint them black

    I had the colors backwards but still the same process. Also, those will have to be cut to fit an fbody.

    ^^^^agreed...you have to fill them in & then smooth it out-after that you can paint them & apply your decals. Also, the corvette FRCs have to be cut to fit because the engine in the vette is out further in the bay, whereas the engine in the f-body is further back in the compartment; also they have to be cut b/c of a few different part placements between the vette & the f-body. A little side note: I'd recommend covering the bottom of the FRCs with heat shielding tape when you put them on, so they don't warp or melt...

    cut? how hard is that? is there a write up?I'm going to pick them up for 50 bucks, but it sounds like its going to be a bitch to do all this.

    They need to be cut like mine above to fit.
