tint removal?

how do u remove tint? the tint on my rear glass in my grand am is horrible. i cant see through it very well and id like to get rid of it and get it replaced later. anyone know how?

if you can get a steamer those make tint come off like butter. just steam the tint and pull carefully and it will fall off.

Hopefully you dont have a terrible experiance like I did with the vette when it was passed down to me. The tint on the back was a good 15 years old and was PURPLE. Even ammonia wouldnt take that stuff off. I had to use a good ol' razor blade and be EXTREAMLY careful not to nick the defroster lines. Good luck, hopefully the glue melts easy for ya!

Could do it like a cop made my buddy do it. He got pulled over for illegal tint, the cop told him to take it off. He said OK as soon as I get home I will remove it. Cop said no I mean take it off right now. He literally made my friend start peeling the tint wherever he could with his fingernails.

As soon as he fucked up the tint in enough places the cop said that's enough and let him go, knowing that he had fucked it up bad enough that he would have to remove it anyway.

i was pulled over for tint when i had my windows DOWN. Turns out the prick school cop was waiting for me to make a mistake(roll a stop sign) then he was gonna get me for tint even if my windows were down. He pulled me over then made me roll them up. AS*hole. But a good hair dryer or even better a heat gun make removing tint easy.

Prick cop, friend had no choice. Knew another guy who went to court for tint and beat the ticket. HE didn't drive his own car there so they couldn't check the vehicle, and he walke din to the courtroom with some roughed up tint and lied to the judge and told him look here is the tint I removed it. They bit and wiped the ticket clean
