Thoughts on color change?

Well, our cars are getting old and some of us are gonna need to paint our cars soon. What are your guy's views toward changing paint colors on your car? Such as painting a car blue that came red. I'm not saying I'm going to do this, but the thought has crossed my mind. thoughts?

It'd be more difficult/expensive to do that, right? Since you'd have to worry about repainting all the corners and crevices that you might not have to with the same color...

If that's not a consideration, I say go for it. Spice it up, change of pace, all that jazz...

I wouldn't do that unless I was doing a complete frame off restoration.

When I end up doing my car, I'm going to stay with the white but add a pearl to it.

I full repaint done right is not cheap. Jams, under hood. etc all have to be spray witch means alot of rr of part. If you stick with the same color but like said add some pearl or metallic you can get a custom look with out all the headaches. Not saying that it cant be done but it is gonna cost ya.

Ya. I was thinking of painting my car candy red when it comes time for it. I wish they painted it black under the hood. Would really save time on that.

I've thought that myself I don't really care for the white under there. It's dull and looks like crap IMO.

Back in the day GM took the time to paint every engine bay black on all their cars. They got lazy. haha

agreed. I've had one of my Camaros completely repainted and I stuck with the same color. The only car i think you can get away with is a black one but you still need to do the door jams and hatch.
