BLACK- 1995 Camaro Ls1 swap
Should I keep the "SS" or take it off?
When I bought this car, the guy had already put "SS" badges on it, even though it's a '95. I didn't think anything more of it than a nice "clone SS", so I never messed with it.
Now I'm wondering if I should remove the badges on the sides, or leave it the way it is now.(there wasn't ever a badge in the rear)
I would really appreciate anyone's honest opinions.
Here are some pics:

Take it off so you're not a poser even though that's quite obvious

BLACK- 1995 Camaro Ls1 swap
Thanks for the fast responses!
Yeah it was originally a Z28, but it was abused pretty hard and ended up in a junk yard. The guy that I bought it from found it with no engine and no trans, so he put an LS1 and M6 in it.
I guess he figured that he might as well make it an "SS clone" since he put so much work into it.. but I don't know.
If it was me, I would have just left the "Z28" badges on.
I might look into taking them off though!

get one for the rear and leave it the way it is. If people ask you is that a reall SS just say its a clone nothing wrong with that as long as your honest and you bought the car that way. I think it looks nice and isnt a big deal

Thanks for the complements!
I didn't even think about retro Z28 badges.. That might look pretty good.
I'll try taking them off sometime though, and see how it looks debadged.

Yeah that's a tough question... well If I were you just lose the SS since it isn't a SuperSport but since it is or at least was a Z28 put some Z28 shit on there and get one of those LS1 inside decals for the back window they kinda play off of the Intel Inside stickers on computers it looks studly! well that's just me... later

I voted before I even read your post, but I would like to change that to YES! I didn't know it was a clone, but your car is very nice & clean.

Guy locally has the same year with the same setup but with some extras from exotic performance plus. Ditch em and dont pop the hood and go out and make some money at the track IMO

they look good on there, thats a sharp lookin car. but you seem like a good guy, and as someone else said, you dont wanna be confused for some poser dickhead. there are a lot of really nice lookin Z28 badges out there that would look just as good. thats the route i would go. driving around in a car that says SS thats not a true SS would cause me some mental anguish. besides, you are set up PERFECTLY to be a destroy some people that just dont see it coming at all.
