Retractable license plate

Has anyone installed a retractable license plate on their Trans Am I like my bird up front so this would be a solution electric license plate unit cool 2 :-) Pics would be nice

Thanks a lot I am sold I have to order that right now Yes it's $150 more here to have a seasonnal plate they call but it's from April 1st to oct 31st well I drive my car usually from March 15th to dec 1st s if I take the seasonnal plate I'm srewed for almost 2 months of driving and it's really cool to boot :-)

That's pretty cool. Gotta point this out on the Mustang forum for the Cobra owners, as the Cobra's don't have a front plate holder, and the ones they mount on totally suck, they look like crap, they're riveted on and you have to cut or drill them off. This would be so much better. Surprised nobody there has heard of this...

no problem man..its really worth it and it comes with 2 remote keychains.

and its real easy to install. drill 3 holes on the bottom of the bumper and connect a ground and positive cable and you are good to go.

You can bet they are'nt legal. In Wisconsin if you don't have a plate displayed on the front of your car, you can get a ticket. I'm sure they would see this as some sort of means of evasion or to flout the law. You would have to use this only at car shows or what not. Still, its a neat way to have the look you want and satisfy the long arm.

My bet is they are NOT legal in any state.......

I never said it was legal so when you drive down the road it's up as soon as you pull in anywhere and park the beauty hit the switch and it's gone might forget to put it up driving downtown but..... :-o

thats what i do lol. or sometimes if im driving with it down and i see a cop at a light or something i hit the switch to open it up.
