    Replacing Interior

So. i have a 1999 Trans Am WS6. I want to redue the interior.
Right now its grey but i want black.

I was wondering if there were any "Interior Packages" that included all the panels, seats, dash, consol, carpet, headliner, etc. so that i dont have to waste my time searching, mixing, and matching.

I have the Classic Industries Firebird Trans Am Catalog but they obviously focus more on the earlier models. ive also noticeed that they are over priced on most of their items...any ideas?

No packages I know of off hand, but checking salvage yards or forum classifieds might net you an entire package. Its typical for people with wrecked fbodies to part them out like that. You might get lucky.

Also, If you have the money to do it you should seriously consider doing a full vinyl wrap on the interior. My neighbor has done nearly all of his 2002 WS6 in red and black vinyl and it looks AMAZING. ran him about 2k to get it done but the results seem well worth it. i'm thinking of doing the doors and dash in the future. I wish I had some sources for you but I haven't done much research on it. Seriously worth a look though

    Check Out

Do a search for Classic Soft Trim leather interiors. The covers are precut and they can cover the top portion of the door panels in leather also.

The dash and the plastic panels can be painted (that's how the factory does it anyway). Trust me you DO NOT want to have to replace the dash. Driver's side airbag can also be painted, steering wheel would have to be replaced with a black one.

There is a place in Cali that sells interior seat covers all you do is remove the old and install the new. Door panels can be done to match at any local shop.

when I bought my camaro the seats were completely trashed. the vinyl was ripped and the foam was old and ripped.I bought new seat covers for the front seats (top and bottom) along with used but very good condition seat foam and I also bought the seat back to the back seats. basicaly the only seats that weren't replaced were the back ones.

it was about 1000 for everything. I bought it from that rubik guy on eBay. everything fits very well but HOLY SHIT WAS IT HARD TO SLIP ON THE COVERS AND CLIP THE BOTTOMS TOGETHER.

the drivers side seat was more of a pain because of the electric brackets

Sooo Nice! How about a little write up on the steps taken?
What are you using to adhere the vinal? 3M Adhesive spray?
how did you secure the back? Did the dash fit back properly after being wrapped?
