    Repair my side skirt?

    Hey guys,

Awesome site you guys have here!! Well, the thing is I busted up the ?side skirt? (The very bottom of the right side of the car/the plastic piece underneath the door) on my right side pretty badly. There is a series of scratches on it, and it is messed up. So, I just wanted suggestions on how I should try and fix it? Perhaps, some advice on how to paint it or sand it and wat kind of paint to use? Any help is appreciated! Ill post pics once the sun comes up. Thanks guys!

If they are just paint scratches... you'll just have to get it sanded down and painted. Probably $60 - $80 at a local auto-body shop... however if the plastic is gougeed, it'll either need replacing, or you can try and use body filler, or ask the auto body shops what type of other fillers you can use to fix the gouges. Either way it'll have to be painted.

This past year, High Performance Pontiac mag. had a story on repairing cracks in Endura bumpers. Worth looking at there besite to get the details.

    Good luck,

i had a curb jump out of nowhere and hit my front ground effects and i took them off and sanded them with 2000 grit then i got the factory matching paint from duplicolor and the color match is perfect. to this day i cant tell they were re painted. if you want to try this yourself, then whats the worst that can happen if you mess up youd still have to have it professionally done. give it a try
